Easy Summer Fun Ideas For Kids
The last month has been a bit odd. It has been a mix of quarantine, coming out of quarantine, a new season (with longer, hotter days), and overall chaos. As our little family merges back into the real world, finding that daily balance has become a thing we are striving for. For those of you that don’t know, I am a full-time mom AND I work full-time as well. Add blogging/Instagram into that mix, and things get a little hectic. Ya feel me?
Our schedule may feel a little out of wack at the moment, but as a mom, I am SO very grateful for anything that makes it easier-i.e. popsicles, non-spill sippy cups, and fun, educational toys. I don’t know what we would do without Toy Library!
Most of you have already heard me rant and rave about Toy Library, but if you haven’t, you are in for a treat. Toy Library is the ultimate $12.50/month toy rental service. Simply pick two toys, a mailer with the toys will be sent to your home, play with the toys, return them when you are done, and repeat! The process is SO simple. And again, we live for simplicity around here.
I know what you’re thinking… “What about germs and the threat of CoVid-19?” Toy Library is excellent in that they sanitize each toy with an ultrasonic sanitizing bath.”But what if my child damages the toy?” There is no extra charge for normal wear and tear! Us mamas of toddlers know this is an absolute lifesaver.
Of course, giving your child a toy always runs the risk that it will become their favorite toy. Toy Library has already thought of this as well and offers the option to keep the toy for a very small fee.
I could rant on and on, but the educational factor is my favorite part. Each toy is hand-picked and tailored to help develop your child’s motor, sensory processing, language, and social skills. Check out the charts HERE for more information on that. Toy Library makes it easy to incorporate learning with fun!
